SUMMARY:2022 Christmas Tree Lighting
DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, November 26\, at 6:00 p.m.\, join us to celebrate 107 years of a magical tradition in downtown Harbor Springs at the annual Christmas Tree Lighting. We will be announcing the winners of the Holiday Decorating contest at that time. \nBegin your day at The Lyric Theatre at 11a.  They will be showing "How the Grinch Stole Christmas."  Immediately following the show\, Santa will arrive via firetruck to meet and greet the kids.  Also available again this year is the mailbox to Santa will be located at the Lyric Threatre. Make sure your children write their letters to Santa and drop them off anytime the month of December.  \n\n\n\nMain Street\, west of State Street\, will be closed to traffic beginning at 3p on Saturday.  \n\n\n\nAt 6:00\, Celebrate 107 years of a magical tradition in downtown Harbor Springs at the Christmas Tree Lighting. Gather with your friends and neighbors to sing carols\, enjoy the lighting of the tree on Main Street and celebrate the winners of the annual window decorating contest. \n\n\n\nThe public is then invited to attend an ecumenical chili dinner in the Holy Childhood Parish Hall at 150 W Main Street\, just adjacent to the tree\, where you can also enjoy homemade cookies and hot cocoa\, courtesy of the American Legion Auxiliary and their sponsor First Community Bank!\n\nFor those of our Harbor Springs family near and far who would like enjoy the tree lighting from the comfort of their home\, we will be streaming live on the Harbor Springs Facebook page.   https://www.facebook.com/harborspringschamber \n\n\nThank you to A+ Entertains who will be providing the lights and sound system for this year's event\, as well as Irish Boat Shop for our stage.
