DESCRIPTION:The Chamber is excited to present five very exciting Friday evenings.\n\nFriday Night Music in the Park\, Marina Park\, 6:30p - 8:30p\n\n\n\nJuly 8 - Ty Parkins \n\nParkin moved to Nashville in 2016 to pursue a career in music but has since moved home after missing life in Northern Michigan. He spent a lot of his time in Tennessee learning from his peers\, performing in honky-tonks\, writing and doing anything he could to further his songwriting and performing. "I fell in love with performing and getting people excited for the songs and performances\," he said. "I did really miss home and\, when I moved back\, I was really excited to bring that Nashville-like experience to the venues I play at up here." However\, Parkin's time in Nashville really helped him hone in his skills as a performer as he sometimes had to perform at one honky-tonk bar at 10 a.m.\, move down the road and perform again later that day. Some days he found himself performing two or three times a day for hours on end. \nJuly 15 - Two Track Mind\n\nJuly 29 - Soul'd Out\n\nAugust 5 - i.am.james\n\nAugust 19 - Jelly Roll Blues Band\nBring your blanket\, chair\, picnic basket\, take out meal and beverage from a local restaurant and come prepared to enjoy these performers' beautiful sounds. \n\n\n\nWhat could be better than live music in downtown Harbor Springs!\n\n\n\n**All events subject to change and will follow all current Covid protocols.
