DESCRIPTION:Join us in Marina Park for the Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra (GLCO) presentation of a new outdoor performances series during the summer of 2022. ?Little Bay Live!? is an extension of the online program\, Little Bay Concerts\, started in spring of 2020 offering online music performances connecting the Orchestra to the community and providing performing opportunities for GLCO musicians during the COVID-19 shut down.\n\nLittle Bay Live! features small ensembles of GLCO musicians performing outdoors for residents and visitors in northern Michigan. (Petoskey\, Harbor Springs\, Charlevoix\, Boyne City and East Jordan). The goal of this program is to make music accessible to more people of all ages\; to present casual\, live performances\; to bring classical music to people in the communities where they live\; and to provide opportunities for GLCO musicians to perform. This program strives to open up programming that serves a wide spectrum of the population.\n\n The mission of the GLCO is to "produce live orchestral performances\, providing entertainment\, education and inspiration for our northern Michigan community" and central to that mission is access to world-class music for all who reside in or visit our beautiful lower Northern Michigan area.www.glcorchestra.org.\n\n"Little Bay Live!" will bring music to the community and engage the general public in local music experiences\, lifting exposure to diversity in and through music.\n\n\n\n**All events subject to change and will follow all current Covid protocols.
