DESCRIPTION:Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra presents 'From Vienna with Love\," a Night of Waltzes\,\n\nat 7 pm on Thursday\, July 20th at the Great Lakes Center for the Arts.\n\n \n\nJoin us for this extraordinary performance celebrating elegant classical music highlights from Vienna:  waltzes\, polkas and quadrilles by Strauss\, Lehar\, Delibes\, and more. Enjoy favorites such as the Blue Danube Waltz and the overture to Die Fledermaus.  The GLCO\, led by Maestro Libor Ondras\, is joined by brilliant local sopranos Amy Joy Cross and Jamie Beth Platte in gorgeous opera arias and duets.\n\n \n\nConcert tickets include an optional pre-concert talk at 6 pm by Libor Ondras\, as well as a post-concert reception.\n\nTickets from $35 to $65 are available at glcorchestra.org/concerts. The concert is free for veterans\, active service members\, and students 18 and under by calling the GLCO office at 231-487-0010.
