DESCRIPTION:Join Michigan Sea Grant educator Elliot Nelson for a morning of birding around the eastern Upper Peninsula. We will be targeting Snowy Owls\, Rough-legged Hawks as well as other winter birds. Binoculars are necessary for this trip. Spotting scopes\, cameras\, and two-way radios are also helpful\, but not required. We will end the trip with an optional lunch at a local restaurant.
