Genealogy Workshop

Join Program Coordinator Beth Wemigwase to learn how to get started researching your family history. Workshops begin at 5:30 pm on the second floor of the Harbor Springs History Museum and will be held:

Tuesday, March 14 | Tuesday, April 11 | Tuesday, May 16

Each workshop begins with a 30 minute presentation on how to use the society’s subscription to Ancestry.com and other helpful website, then shifts to focus on participants’ interests and questions. From roughly 6:30-7:30pm guests are invited to use their laptops to begin their research while Wemigwase offers assistance.

Workshops are recommended for those in the early stages of their family history research or for those who are just beginning to use Ancestry.com. Participants are strongly encouraged to bring their own laptops and should also bring whatever information they have already gathered about their ancestors. Seats are $15 each and are limited to 10 people per workshop. Register below or call 231-526-9771.
