Organization Overview:
Little Traverse Bay Humane Society is a no-kill, non-profit organization that offers a temporary home to companion animals. Every day, we work toward achieving our mission of offering warm shelter, veterinary services, and personal attention to all the animals in our care, as well as proactive methods to control pet overpopulation.
Position Responsibilities:
We’re looking for a full-time Director of Philanthropy. This person will facilitate deep engagement in the mission of the Little Traverse Bay Humane Society. Responsibilities include direction & oversight of the organization’s fundraising efforts, inclusive of donor relationship management, fundraising events, annual giving programs, marketing, communications, planned giving program, fundraising events, and cultivate and expand broad-based positive relationships with the business, professional and philanthropic sectors of the community.  Essential attributes include exceptional internal and external customer service, attention to detail, the ability to uphold high standards of compliance and organization, and a strong work ethic. He or she will play a key role in maximizing the efficiency of development in defining and implementing the infrastructure/systems needed to support substantial growth. Salary based on experience.
