• Service Manager

    Throughout each day:

    • Review work orders, verify completion; follow up with Service Advisor as needed
    • Review technician progress; inspect work for proper workmanship and quality control; train and mentor
    • Listening, communicating, and having resolutions are essential
    Other duties include:
    • Lead weekly meetings to keep employees updated
    • Assist with customer communication, such as complaints; maintain strong relationships with customers and 3rd party vendors, ensuring repeat customers
    • Strong working knowledge Company’s products and services
    • Maintain strong relationship with the sales department ensuring timely delivery of new and used boats and after-sale service
    • Be involved in recruiting; discipline issues; employee conflict; employee recognition

    This position involves desk/computer work but you'll also be on the move checking the progress of work being completed; finding new work opportunities; building relationships with employees and customers. From May to October, it is a fast-paced (yet fun!) environment which is why Walstrom is looking to bring in someone with positive energy and a passion for boats to our Team.
