About Us

Our championship 18 hole Par 72 course, with a bonus 19th hole, was built in 1994. It was designed and constructed by architect Larry Mancour, who frequents Chestnut Valley weekly during our season, and is and always will be part of the Chestnut Valley Golf Course family.

Chestnut Valley Golf Course is named after the American Chestnut Tree and was home to one of the few remaining American Chestnut Trees in the nation. In 2019 only the trunk remained. To honor its long standing symbolism the tree trunk was carved into the beautiful statue, and is found between holes 10 and 11. It is estimated to be around 125 years old when it was transformed. Though the tree as we knew it once has faded, the course is trying to preserve its namesake and a beloved part of this community.
