About Us
Women’s Resource Center of Northern Michigan has been providing high-quality, comprehensive services to survivors of domestic abuse and sexual assault since 1977. Over the years, programs and services have been added in response to community need, such as childcare, preschool, education and employment, the Safe Home shelter and Children's Advocacy Center. These services are funded by Gold Mine Resale Shop revenue, donations, fundraisers and grants.
The agency provides safe, confidential and compassionate support to survivors at no cost in Antrim, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, Emmet and Otsego counties.
