    About Us

Founded in 1939, Emmet Clay Sports is a non-profit, volunteer club that is open to the public. Situated on 95 acres of rolling hardwood forest in the beautiful Northwest Lower Peninsula, shooters can enjoy Sporting Clays, Skeet, Trap, 5-Stand, and Crazy Quail. Of our 95 acres, 70 acres are dedicated to one of the Midwest’s finest sporting clays courses. Our state-of-the-art course, which opened in July 2014, features 14 challenging stations built into spectacular terrain. Members and guests can enjoy our modern clubhouse amenities including; comfortable seating, restroom, and a kitchen.

ECS is available for private group and business outings. Contact us to learn more about hosting an event.

Shotgun and Cart rentals are available. Ammunition is also available for purchase, only for use at ECS. Please call ahead to ensure availability of carts and rentals.

Memberships are also available which provide discounted rates for clay targets, ammunition, cart rentals, as well as after-hour access to the clubhouse and sporting clay venues, after taking a 'Closed Hours' Safety Instruction Course.

Come out and see all that Emmet Clay Sports has to offer and 'Give it your best shot'!
