Want to learn more about birds? Want to be part of a national bird conservation effort? You can! Little Traverse Conservancy's Volunteer coordinator, Cacia Lesh, and citizen science volunteer Jim Bean, share their experience with the American Kestrel Partnership's kestrel nest box monitoring program. With the help of an anonymous grant in 2012, LTC has erected 77 nest boxes on its preserved lands in order to monitor American Kestrels. Join us to hear what we have learned about the birds and citizen science. Free and family friendly.
