The Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra is honored to welcome distinguished composer, David Lockington to the podium conducting the world premiere The Violet Viola Concerto on SATURDAY, SEPT 21 at 7:00 p.m. at the Great Lakes Center for the Arts. Inspired by the birth of his granddaughter, Violet, the concerto features GLCO Music Director Libor Ondras, viola soloist. This commission was made possible by Dr. Robert and Alice Pattengale. "Overture from Il Signor Bruschino" by Rossini and "Variaciones Concertantes" complete the program.
