To learn about the modern history of land use in Emmet County, please join the Essence of Emmet Historical Collaborative for its first 2017 history program Wednesday, April 26, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Community Building at the Fairgrounds, 1129 Charlevoix Ave. (U.S. 31) in Petoskey. The program is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
