Each year the community pauses to acknowledge our wonderful sense of place, our commerce, and our extraordinary citizens as a whole.  It’s all about recognizing and thanking people in the community for their efforts, whether Chamber related or community focused. It’s our way of showing appreciation and acknowledging all the hard work that people put in to making this a great place that we love to live, work and play in. Come out for the Red Carpet, Flair & Fashion, Excitement, and Celebration of our Harbor Starts!

Award Categories include:

• Outstanding Citizen Award – Lifetime Contribution Award recognizing an individual for their lifelong contribution of time, talent and resources for the betterment of the greater Harbor Springs area.  The “Harbor Star” of the year!

• Ambassadors Award - Given to a individual who has a genuine fondness for the greater Harbor Springs area and who shares that fondness through enthusiasm and service that enhances the community and inspires others to do the same.  

• Community Service Award - Honoring an organization that has contributed time and energy to various causes and made a lasting impression on the community.

• President’s Award Business - This award is given to a business that has contributed time and resources to help fulfill the mission of the Harbor Springs Area Chamber of Commerce.  
• Area Beautification and Architectural Excellence Award - Presented to an area business that has helped increase the architectural beauty and excellence of our communities through new construction, unique design elements, or superior remodeling of an existing structure.

• Entrepreneur of the Year Award - Presented to an area business that is helping to enhance the local economy through business growth.
