Petoskey Regional Audubon Society president, Darrell Lawson, spent 2014 attempting to see as many bird species in the state as he could. Come hear him talk about the experience, birds seen, birds missed, and reflections after the fact. Photos, videos, maps, and of course, the final list, will be displayed as well. Darrell was born and raised in Charlevoix where he developed an appreciation for the outdoors at a young age. A few years ago he discovered birding and now devotes much of his time to the hobby and to promoting birding in the area. He is the acting president of the Petoskey Regional Audubon Society and a committee member for Mackinac Straits Raptor Watch.
