Take A Walk In Their Shoes

You are invited to join us for an interactive simulation that may change the way you think of poverty. The simulation is an enlightening experience that helps individuals begin to understand what life is like with a shortage of money and an abundance of stress. Participants will assume the role of a family over the course of four 15 minute "weeks", during which time you must secure food, shelter, and other basic necessities. The event is truly eye opening and can leave a lasting impression. Participants will be able to take a walk in the shoes of 38% of the population in Charlevoix and Emmet County.
