    Brutus Camp Deli, a cherished local favorite in Brutus, MI, reopened in December of 2023, bringing back its much-loved breakfast menu. This marks a significant moment for the community, as the deli had been closed for several years.

    Dean Grill, alongside partners John and Becky Duffey, longtime owners of the much beloved Douglas Lake Bar & Steakhouse, are at the helm of this exciting revival. The trio, known for their recent success with Trovato at Hidden River, is breathing new life into Brutus Camp Deli, preserving its cherished legacy while infusing it with their unique hospitality and culinary excellence flair.

    “We’re thrilled to bring Brutus Camp Deli back to life,” said Dean Grill. “It’s more than just a place to eat; it’s a part of the community’s heart and history. We’re committed to preserving what made it special while offering a refreshed experience to both old and new patrons.”

    The relaunch of Brutus Camp Deli is a reopening and a celebration. Patrons are enjoying a menu that honors the deli’s roots, featuring classic breakfast favorites alongside new, innovative offerings prepared with the finest local ingredients. Stay tuned for a lunch menu in late winter/early spring of 2024.
