    About Us

    North Central Michigan College is an open-door community college based in Petoskey with additional offerings in Cheboygan, Gaylord, and online. North Central’s mission is to provide exceptional, accessible, relevant higher education to the benefit of all. North Central offers 20 transfer associate degrees, 48 occupational associate degrees and certificates, and 13 Fast Track programs.

    NCMC has a fitness center and walking track in the Athletics Center. The walking track is free to the community. There are also pickleball courts for rent. The NCMC Timberwolves offer men's and women's basketball, track, and women's volleyball for students, and games are ticketed and open to the community.     NCMC offers workshops, international lectures and Luncheon Lectures, as well as lifelong learning opportunities. North Central facilities are also available for rent for workshops, lectures, special events and meetings. Visit Conference Services for more information.
