    About Us

Northwest Michigan Habitat for Humanity, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, serving Emmet and Charlevoix Counties. Since 1990, we have been dedicated to ensuring all residents have a safe place to call home by constructing, rehabilitating, and preserving homes, advocating for fair and just housing policies, and providing training and resources to help families improve their living conditions.

Northwest Michigan Habitat for Humanity is an equal opportunity housing provider, licensed builder, lender, and licensed retailer. It is the policy of this affiliate to accept applications for housing assistance from all who need a decent, affordable place to live regardless of race, religion, age, gender, national origin, disability or familial status. We welcome volunteers of all skill levels, offering opportunities for learning and community engagement to all who are willing to support our mission.
