October is Michigan Chamber of Commerce Month

Harbor Springs Area Chamber of Commerce is Participating in Michigan Chamber of Commerce Month in October
We are proud to participate in and recognize the month of October to be Michigan Chamber of Commerce Month.  Our Chamber has played a significant role in attracting and welcoming new businesses to our community and serving as an important resource for businesses large and small.  Throughout the month of October we'll be celebrating and acknowledging our members, volunteers, our accomplishments, and more.  Look for more acknowledgements & recognition of members on our Facebook page.

We start off Chamber Month by acknowledging our Longest Standing Members, reaching back to the '50s and '60s.  They include:
    Mike Pierce, D.D.S. (4/1959)
First Community Bank of Harbor Springs (5/1959)
Kelbel Pharmacy (Formerly Known as Hovey's) (5/1959)
    Walstrom Marine (5/1959)
    Insurance By Burley (5/1959)
MacGregor Plumbing & Heating, Inc. (12/1962)
    Stafford's Pier (8/1963)
    Land Masters (7/1965)
    Irish Boat Shop (5/1966)

We'd especially like to thank each of these members for supporting the Chamber for more then fifty years!  Truly amazing.

    - "Being Chamber members for more than five decades has been important not only for the local business connections, but also for keeping us apprised of legislative changes in Michigan that could affect our business." - Julie Wieman, Owner MacGregor Plumbing, Heating & Air

Thank you volunteers! Throughout this month we also want to further acknowledge and thank many of our volunteers; whether committee members, event coordinators, board of directors, or Ambassadors.
