Welcome Georgia Abbott!

The Harbor Springs Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that, as of Wednesday, March 8th, Georgia Abbott is the new Executive Director for the organization.

"I am excited to share my business expertise with our Chamber members," stated Georgia Abbott, Executive Director. "As an entrepreneur myself, I started, grew and sold my business over a 14 year period.  I have great respect for entrepreneurs and now it is time to give back."  

The HSACC is dedicated to promoting, enhancing and contributing to the success of member businesses and the local business community.

"Our work to grow and sustain a vibrant business sector in our area will come from our dedication to business advocacy," Abbott continued. "We will focus on our members’ needs, and encourage our member’s personal and professional growth through HSACC resources and new educational opportunities."

The board of directors has been working on an actionable strategic plan that will benefit the organization and its members. 

"The board looks forward to working with Georgia on our vision and the future of the organization," stated Marcie Wolf, President of the HSACC Board of Directors. "Georgia's immediate goal is improved relations and more one-on-one time with our members."

A key new differentiator for HSACC will be creativity and innovation.  

"Our board is focused on supporting me to lead proactive and forward-thinking practices, programs and engagements for our members," stated Abbott, "and responding to their diverse needs and the changing business community."
