AT OFFIELD FAMILY VIEWLANDS!
Check back to learn more about our 50th anniversary celebration and concert at Save the Trees this year!
HISTORY
Save the Trees was created and named in 1990 by a group of young people concerned about rapid development and its potential negative impact on northern Michigan’s natural beauty. Since then, Save the Trees has become the premier Up North land protection fundraiser and has raised nearly $1,000,000 for land conservation.
HOW DO YOU SAVE THE TREES?
Thanks to your support of Save the Trees last year, 13,462 trees were planted across three LTC properties!
By intentionally and thoughtfully managing a forest, we encourage better forest health. Amazingly, the number of tree seedlings that will germinate because of the excess light that is hitting the forest floor after timber harvests will far outnumber what we planted.
This work excites us, and you put your trust in LTC to do it right. Feel free to call anytime to learn more about how we manage our working forest reserves.
