Crazy Locals Party

Join Northern Community Mediation for a special "Crazy Locals" party on Tuesday, June 21 at 5:30PM at the Emmet County Fairgrounds Community Building. Enjoy great food and beverages, and fun local music! Doors open at 5:30 and the first band starts at 6:00 pm. This is a fundraiser for Northern Community Mediation.
 

*Raffle Prizes*: Pre-purchase raffle tickets at a deep discount. The "cost" for everyone’s ticket is a $20 gift card to a local business. Choose your favorite party store, restaurant, or retail shops. Each gift card will become raffle prizes – 10 to a bundle ($200 value) and we’ll be drawing winners all night long!
 

*Crazy Costume Contest*: Come dressed in a fun costume and receive a special raffle ticket for 3 special separate prize drawings for 10 bundled gift cards ($200 total value). Only one ticket per costume goes into the bin to draw for this one so you have better odds of winning. We will also have the audience voting by applause for best costumes during the break between the bands. This is to encourage everyone to dress up!
 

*Local Music*: 6:00 pm - The Easy Picks; 8:00 pm - Levitator
Bands will be playing 90 minute sets each so be be ready to dance!
 

*Beverages*: Pre-purchase drink tickets at a deep discount.
 

*Great Food*: Your ticket comes with food vouchers to use and several local businesses are preparing tastes for up to 750 people that we will be serving up all night. There will also be a popcorn machine with flavored salts, mini Tom's Mom's Original Chocolate Chunk Cookies, and Kilwin's Chocolates.
 

This special fundraiser has 500 tickets available and they will go quickly so get your ticket now from a Northern Community Mediation board member or a member of the party committee.
 

Dr. Jane Millar, the director of Northern Community Mediation, has held a movie night fundraiser for many years and it was supported by donations from many local businesses. This new idea for her 2022 fundraiser was planned to try to give back to the many local businesses that contribute to not only her non-profit agency, but many, many others. When you purchase your ticket for the "Loco Locals" event, you can choose your favorite local business to support. This is a great way to say "Thank You" for all that they do to make our community a better place.
