GLCO presents: From Bohemia's Woods and Groves
The Great Lakes Chamber Orchestra presents “From Bohemia’s Woods & Groves” on Saturday, June 10th at 7 pm at the John M. Hall Auditorium in Bay View, Petoskey.
The concert features works by Czech composers: Antonín Dvorák’s 8th Symphony and Bedrich Smetana’s Moldau, and welcomes back award-winning violin virtuoso Dylana Jenson (the first American woman to win the Tchaikovsky International competition) performing Samuel Barber’s Violin Concerto.
Tickets from $35 - $65 are available at www.glcorchestra.org. The concert is free for veterans, active service members and students 18 and under by calling 231-487-0010.
Tickets include an optional pre-concert talk at 6 pm by Libor Ondras, music director and conductor, as well as a post-concert reception.Date and Time
