The Harvest Food and Supply Drive is one of the most significant ways for community members and groups to support survivors and their family members utilizing these vital Safe Home services.
The Safe Home is operated 24/7 by Women's Resource Center of Northern Michigan. It is a caring, secure and supportive place to seek refuge from domestic abuse and sexual assault when home is not a safe place to live.
Grocery or supermarket gift card donations and financial contributions help Safe Home staff purchase exactly what is needed at any given time. Your donations help the Safe Home feel like home for many families in Antrim, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, Emmet and Otsego counties.
Nonperishable donations will also be accepted; the Safe Home needs list is available on Women’s Resource Center of Northern Michigan’s website.
Harvest Food and Supply Drive donations are accepted at the agency’s main office located at 423 Porter Street and Gold Mine Resale Shops in Petoskey. Financial contributions may be made online or mailed.
