              Northern Michigan at 250

Although far from most theaters of the American Revolution, Michilimackinac and the rest of northern Michigan played a role on the conflict. Craig Wilson will discuss how the British, French Canadian, and Anishnaabek residents of Michilimackinac navigated and participated in the war, and the lasting legacies of the Revolution in northern Michigan. Advanced registration is appreciated.

              _____________

Craig Wilson is Chief Curator for Mackinac State Historic Parks, supervising museum operations at the agency’s six historic sites spread across three state parks in the Straits of Mackinac region.
