Special Friday Night Music in the Park Concert – August 14
Join us for a special evening of live music presented by Edward Jones Tim Knapp and Mercantile Bank of Michigan, Friday, August 14th.
Plan to be in downtown Harbor Springs at the waterfront for a special Friday Night Music in the Park featuring Serita's Black Rose!
Serita’s Black Rose brings soulful, genre-defying music to the stage! Led by award-winning singer, recording artist and harmonica player Serita Crowley—a self-proclaimed “Funkateer”—the Grand Rapids-based group blends funk, rock, blues, roots, neo-soul and Americana with infectious energy and heart.
For more than two decades, Serita and longtime partner Jon Hayes have captivated audiences with a mix of original music and timeless ‘60s and ‘70s favorites. Their acoustic duo has shared the stage with legendary artists including Smokey Robinson, Kansas and Cheap Trick.
Come experience Serita’s powerful, soulful vocals and the unmistakable musical chemistry of Serita’s Black Rose!
This is free to attend and a perfect way to spend a Friday evening with friends, family, and great music.
Special thanks to our sponsors: Mercantile Bank and Edward Jones, Tim Knapp Branch, for their continued support of this community tradition.
You won’t want to miss it! Bring your blanket or chair and enjoy an unforgettable summer evening on the waterfront.
While this was originally scheduled as our season finale, we're excited to keep the music going with one additional rescheduled performance the following Friday!
