The Harbor Springs Area Historical Society invites the community to celebrate winter with a full day of engaging programming during the DDA’s annual Ice Fest. A picture-frame ice sculpture will be installed outside the Harbor Springs History Museum, creating a whimsical photo opportunity available throughout the weekend. A live demonstration of experts carving an ice sculpture of a train will take place at 10 am in front of the Ephraim Shay Works Museum.
Back inside the History Museum, guests of all ages are welcome to tour the galleries and create handmade Valentine’s cards and crafts inspired by historic designs. The open house is free and open to the public, with donations appreciated. Cookies and hot chocolate will be served.
