Join LTC environmental education staff at the Charlevoix Public Library for an evening exploring the intricate partnerships between northern Michigan's native plants and the insects that depend on them. We'll look beyond the honeybee to meet the native bee species, flies, beetles, and moths quietly moving through our fields, roadsides, and forest edges each May and examine why the plants they evolved alongside are so much more than pretty flowers. This all-ages program is designed for anyone who has ever stopped to watch something small moving through a flower and wondered what was really happening. Registration is not necessary.
