The Museum Operations & Visitor Experience Coordinator is responsible for managing day-to-day operations, visitor services, and volunteer coordination across multiple Harbor Springs Area Historical Society properties.
This role works closely with the Executive Director to ensure smooth daily operations, consistent staffing, and a high-quality visitor experience across all sites. This is a hands-on, on-site position in a small, collaborative organization and is best suited for a highly organized professional who enjoys managing logistics, staff, and day-to-day operations.
This role offers an opportunity to play a key part in a growing organization and contribute to the day-to-day success of multiple museum sites.
This position requires a full-time, year-round presence in Harbor Springs, Michigan. Candidates relocating to the area should have a clear and realistic plan for housing and transition prior to applying. Relocation assistance is not available. This role is best suited for individuals prepared to live and work in a small Northern Michigan community year-round.
